I’m in the money

Last fathers day the kids got me a Terramundi Money Pot.  This is basically a piggy bank – but the only way to get the money out is to smash it!!  This is ideal in our house because the piggy banks are always getting raided whenever the milkman, window cleaner etc turn up at the door or school dinner money is needed.

One of the rules of the pot is that the money has to be used for “good things” – not pay for bills or food shopping. 

We smashed it last night and all started counting - £487.00, which was quite lucky because I had decided on buying a new lens for my camera and this just about covers it!!

By the way – I got my car back yesterday – all fixed and they even gave it a clean.
