Kid Free Weekend in Dornoch Day #1

Jean & Eddie had planned to take the kids to Lochanhully, Carrbridge - near Aviemore for the school October week - (beauty!).  We took the kids up to Aviemore as there was no room in the car for all the weans and luggage, dumped them with Jean and Eddie and we carried on north to Dornoch. 

We had booked into the Dornoch Castle Hotel for 2 nights.   We arrived at about 3 o'clock, checked in and went for a wee walk round the town. The hotel was right across from Dornoch Cathedral (Madonna got married here), which has some amazing stained glass windows.

After a look round the obligatory gift shops we went down to the beach - absolutely beautiful.
